Friday, August 26th. The Rainbow Festival Pass goes on sale. They include entry into six presentations. Issued in limited quantity at a cost of $60.00 ($10.00 per show) for the general public. Also, tickets to individual performances in the festival go on sale. Prices range from $10. to $20. available through V.S.P. only. Final program will be available September 1st.
September 1st. 20h.'ScripTease'. Bar Le Tube 1592 Ste-Catherine East. Complex Hotel Bourbon. A Cabaret style evening where all participants in the festival are invited to promote their productions to the general public. Artists from the festival will be given time (aprox. 5 min.) on stage to perform extracts from their plays. Talkback period and interviews with the playwrights. Also variety stage performances. This fundraising event will be held at 8pm. Cost: Entrance is free, donations are gratefully appreciated. Individual tickets for the festival productions and passes will be available for purchase.
Thursday, September 15th 18h. Official festival opening cocktail. Mr. Robert Laramée, elected official of ' l'arrondissement Ville-Marie ' proud sponsors of the festval, will be present to declare the Harvest officially open. A chance for our guests to mingle with the artists, festival production crew, volunteers, media representatives and sponsors to get together and network. Just For Laughs Museum, terrasse 2101 & Studio 2109 St-Laurent Blvd.
Thursday, September 15th 19h. Its show time folks! The premiere performance, Sex and la cité, will start off the festival. Production performances run weekdays from 6pm and weekends from 3pm until Sunday, September 25. See program production schedule for plays and times. In three spaces: Just For Laughs Museum, Cabaret Mado, and Thèâtre Ste-Catherine.
Saturday, September 17th 22h30 to 3h00. Special event - GLAM ROCK Fetish evening. Featuring: 'The Best of Hedwig'. Local guest artists Ro and the Virtuous Villians, and from Vermont DJ JESs, DJ ELLIOTT and DJ Bob Fuller. $10.00 regular rate and $5.00 students and seniors.
Saturday, September 24th 11h15. HARVEST Brunch with the Stars. Café Eurpoean, Complexe Bourbon Ste-Catherine east and Alexandre de Seve. Special brunch get together for some 'theatre talk' to mingle and chat with our local and visiting national and international artists.
Sunday, September 25th 22h30. Official closing ceremonies. Free to all! Honorable mentions given out. Just For Laughs Museum - Studio, 2109 St-Laurent, Blvd.
