Davyn Ryall artistic director of Village Scene Productions
is proud to present the classic psychological thriller

Suddenly, Last Summer
by the American literary genius Tennessee Williams.

This Tennessee Williams classic premiered off-Broadway in 1958. The multi-Oscar nominated popular film version, co-penned by Williams, opened fifty years ago starring: Katherine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Cliff. Kicking off the local fall theatre season, Suddenly, Last Summer will for the first time, finally be presented in English on a Montreal stage, opening at Players Theatre, SSMU Bldg. McGill University, September 22 to October 4.

Fusing the original text with the screenplay brings a new vison to this timeless American literary classic combining a traditional interpretation by a powerfull talented cast, a minimalist treatment with some added special effects, an eclectic music selection, and an abstract movement ensemble, director Davyn Ryall's adaptation of this psychological thriller is an unexpected treat.

Featuring: Doreen Fagan (Violet Venable), Alex Goldrich (Dr. Cukrowicz), Kristina Sandev (Catherine Holly), Dawn Ford (Grace Holly), Adrien Desbiens-Benn (George Holly), Anne-Marie Saheb (Sister Felicity), Julianna Kun (Miss Foxhill) David Wheaton (Dr, Hockstader).
