Harvest submission process:
Submissions are accepted throughout the year.
If received before the deadline they will be considered for the following Harvest season.
In 2008 submission fees are set at:
No registartion fee if received by the deadlines:
International, National, Local, and Touring by March 30.
Late registartion fee of 25$ cad/usd for all categories if received after the above deadlines but by April 15.
The non-refundable submission fee should be paid by bank/postal draft to: Village Scene Productions.

What happens once your production is accepted?
Upon acceptance you will be sent an acceptance notice by e-mail. We will then send you information on P.R. media requests and deadlines to assist us in mounting and promoting your production. You will get information on registration administartion fee and security deposits VSP by June 15, 2008. You will be asked to provide us details on the technical requirements of your show in order for us to properly assign your venue. We also establish the ticket price, number of performances, dates and tentative times. Average ticket prices range from as low as 12$ to as hign as 20$ per ticket with some exceptions as low as 10$ and as high as 25$. Average capacity for the space is 100; this varies with each venue.
International, national, local, touring professional and semi-professional productions, a non-refundable acceptance-administrative fee of 50$ cad/usd per production or project is due upon signing your contract. A box office security deposit of 100$ cad/usd per scheduled presentation is also requested with your signed contract due June 15. Upon completion of the final presentation the box office security deposit is returned to the production company along with 50% per performence of the gross box office sales for all amounts that exceed the original 100$ cad/usd per performance box office security deposit received. If the percentage of gross box office sales per performance is less than the security deposit of 100$ cad the festival retains the difference up to a total amount of the original deposit a maximum of 100$ cad.
Local amateur and novice productions, a non refundable acceptance fee of 25$ cad per production and a box office security deposit of 75$ cad per scheduled performance is requested with your signed contract due by June 15, 2008. Upon completion of the final performance the box office security deposit is returned to the production company along with 50% per performence of the gross box office sales if it exceeds the original 75$ cad per performance box office security deposit received. If the percentage of gross box office sales per performance is less than the security deposit of 75$ cad the festival retains the difference up to the total amount of the original deposit a maximum of 75$ cad.
For all production categories, the festival will retain the minimum amount per performance equivalent to the box office security deposit in order to ensure that a part of the fixed costs incurred by the festival are covered.
What is the performance schedule and when is it set?
Productions of 60 to 120 minutes in length will be scheduled for 1 to 4 performances and scheduled at the festivals discretion. Out of town productions are scheduled in sequence. Local productions may be scheduled randomly throughout the festival. Preliminary schedule out June 1 and final schedule posted on June 15, 2008.
