Montreal, October 20, 2006: Village Scene Productions announces it’s 1st annual Spooktacular Haunted Halloween Auction a fundraising campaign for the HARVEST International Theatre Festival (A cornucopia of theatre celebrating diversity in the performing arts.) the 4th edition of ‘witch’ will be held in the fall of 2007.

Of the 5 main items up for bid two are an all access producer pass to the November 2006 Image+Nation International Film Festival and a weekend for two at the Hotel Taj Mahal including breakfasts. To make a bid – bidding starts on October 21st 9pm and ends October 31st 9pm. The winning bids will be contacted directly on November 1s t 12pm. Winners will have until Saturday November 4th to make the payment and claim their spooktacular prize. If the winning bidder does not pay for and claim their prize by the deadline the next highest bid will be notified and given 48 hours to pay for and claim their prize.

There are 1,2,3 simple ways to bid on one of the ghostly items in the auction:

On line – email your bid to festival@villagescene.com indicate the amount you wish to bid and on which item. If you bid on more than 1 item please indicate each bid with each item separately on individual e-mails. Please give at your name and phone contact information in your e-mail or we will not record your bid.

By phone – you can call in your bid over the phone. Leave your name, phone number, the item number and your bid at 450 550-7782 in voice box *1.

By FAX – If you wish to send a fax to us with your bid. You must call ahead before sending to confirm that you are planning to forward a fax. 450 550-7792.

Indicate your name, phone number, the item number and your bid on the fax.

To make a payment – You may make arrangements to exchange your prize with a VSP representative in exchange for cash. A receipt will be issued also. Or you may pay on line with your c.c. in confidence via paypal.com to our account boxoffice@villagescene.com (add 3% to your bid if paying via paypal.com).

All transactions are final once exchanged. No refunds. It is the responsibility of the prize -winner to verify and to use those items before expiry dates on the items if applicable.

VSP is in no way responsible for the services offered by the suppliers of the prize items.
