Montreal, February 26, 2008. Village Scene Productions (VSP) is seeking submissions from local artists to design a award for the Harvest - Montreal LGBT Int'l. Theatre Festival; the coveted 'Cornucopia' award.
The final selection will become the model for the prize awarded annually at Harvest to recipients for the most noteworthy contributions to the success of this community event now in its 5th edition. The selected artist will be recognized by a mentioned every year at the awards ceremony, receive a lifetime Harvest festival pass, have their web site linked and promoted through the VSP-Harvest web site, and be invited to present an award every season. In addition there will be an unveiling at a high profile special event to members of the community, media and public. The final product will be displayed permanently at a location with public access for year round viewing. Le Festival de Théâtre International LGBT de Montréal.
La sélection finale deviendra le modèle du prix décerné annuellement par La Récolte aux récipiendaires pour les contributions les plus notables au succès de cet événement communautaire, maintenant à sa 5e édition. L'artiste sélectionné sera reconnu par une mentionne chaque année à la cérémonie de remise des prix, recevra une passe à vie pour le festival La Récolte, aura un lien vers son site web promu par le site web de PVS-La Récolte, et sera invité à remettre un prix à chaque année. De plus, il y aura un dévoilement aux médias et au public lors d'un événement spécial, et le produit final sera exposé de façon permanente dans un endroit public pour être visible toute l'année.
