BIO Jacqueline Van de Geer

Jacqueline found her new home when she immigrated to the 'eclectic' city of Montreal in August 2005. Jacqueline hails from the Netherlands where she completed the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam and the Academy of Mime and Movement in Amsterdam. She has completed many workshops in the Netherlands and Europe in clowning, mask-work, acrobatics and movement expression. Her work is as 'eclectic' and varies: acting, teaching, coaching, directing, and writing. She has worked in Germany, France, Belgium and this past summer gave street theatre workshops in the Check Republic.

In Montreal, as an actress, she has performed in Flamousse! a short film 2006; Impostor , a video art production 2006; As Lady Macbeth in the PDT-production Macbeth The Rock Opera 2007; and the maid in Clean Freak, Fringe 2007. She also was an acting coach for Purple Dragon Theatre last season. She is thrilled to be invited by Village Scene Productions to participate in this Harvest season, collaborating as a coach, director and performer in these holiday creations
