Communiqué: Montréal le 04 octobre, 2006.

HARVEST - Ending the festival on a high note with the sold out performance of David on Saturday evening, Davyn Ryall artistic director of Village Scene Productions and coordinator of Harvest announced the nominations and the note worthy recipients of the coveted Harvest cornucopias for the 2006 season at the Métro Lounge in a well attended closing ceremony party event.

Among other categories appropriate for this year's Harvest, two new permanent categories were added: Most notable contribution by a volunteer, and Most notable contribution by a sponsor to the success of the Harvest.

Jury members found this year particularly difficult to single out specific recipients due to the very high caliber of talent participating in Harvest.
Particularly in the solo performance, directors and writing categories.

On behalf of all of the Harvest team at Village Scene Productions Davyn would like to thank all of the host locations, the volunteers, and particularly the artists that participated and contributed to another successful Harvest for 2006.
